1st Thessalonians

The Cornhill Bible Course is a fantastic opportunity to learn about God’s word. It is designed for those who are keen to develop in the joy of studying and teaching the bible, but who cannot (yet!) commit to doing the full Cornhill Training Course. The course is delivered by Cornhill Scotland lecturer Jon Gemmell and runs on Saturday mornings from 08:00 to 09:15 (GMT) for three weeks on Zoom.
Our focus in January 2027 will be on 1st Thessalonians.
- 16th January – Session 1 – Jon Gemmell
- 23rd January – Session 2 – Jon Gemmell
- 30th January – JSession 1 – Jon Gemmell
This will be the third time this course has run. Typically around 80 people have taken part It is a wonderful time of learning, and we’re excited to offer the course again this year. We hope you’ll find it just as helpful and inspiring. And remember—no matter where you are in the world, you can join us!
Those who would like to join the course must register below. The cost is £20. A zoom link will be sent out by email prior to the start of the course, along with electronic copies of the handouts and course materials.
You are welcome to join the course from anywhere in Scotland, the UK or beyond. There are no pre-requisites – just an internet connection and a desire to take the bible seriously and learn from it.
