Expository Ministry Conference

‘Serving the Servants of the Word’

Tuesday 23rd – Thursday 25th June, 2026

This will be the 4th Expository Ministry Conference (EMC ’26). It will also mark 20 years of Cornhill Scotland so we eagerly look forward to gathering once more in June 2026 to sit under God’s word together and acknowledge his faithfulness.

The Expository Ministry Conference is principally for pastors, including pastors in training. Our aim is to be nourished together in God’s word so as to sharpen our preaching, think biblically about the work of ministry, and encourage one another in our service of the Lord.

Our speaker line-up this year includes William Philip, Senior Minister of The Tron Church, Glasgow, who will deliver an Exposition for Expositors each day. We are also delighted that Peter Adam, retired Principal of Ridley College, Melbourne, and former Vicar of St Jude’s, Carlton, will lead three Thinking Theologically sessions. In the Practical Ministry sessions, Andy Gemmill and Jonathan Gemmell will each lead a session entitled Where Will Our Next Pastor Come From?—focusing on making training a priority in church life—and What Are We Really Preaching?—exploring how to keep exposition at the heart of pastoral ministry.

Further details about the programme will be available soon. If you aren’t on our mailing list why not join it now by clicking the link below so that you’ll receive details of the conference as soon as they are available.

EMC will be held at The Tron Church, 25 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 1HW.

We understand the challenges and sacrifices that come with being in ministry. We believe that this conference will provide you with stretching content and much encouragement alongside like-minded Christians to help you to continue in your faithful service of the Lord and His people.  The conference will also provide space to sing and pray together, as well as ample opportunity to catch-up over coffee and lunch.
