Cornhill Summer School

‘Shaping Servants of the Word’

Monday 25th – Wednesday 27th May, 2026

The Cornhill Summer School is now a firmly established highlight of the Cornhill year. We are always hugely encouraged by the people who came and the feedback we receive. In May 2026 we are running Summer School again and would love for you to join us.

It is an intense 3-days of Bible Handling that will help any Christian to read, understand and teach the Bible to others: whether as an occasional preacher, Bible study leader, children’s or youth worker, a keen church member thinking about possible ministry in the future, or someone who would love to do The Cornhill Training Course but circumstances prevent them from doing so.

The programme for each day will look something like this (we are still working on the details):

09:15-09:30 – Morning Exposition (Andrew Mackenzie)

09:30-10:45 – New Testament: James (Andy Gemmill)

10:45-11:15 – Refreshments

11:15-12:30 – Old Testament: Ecclesiastes (Jon Gemmell)

12:30-13:30 – Lunch

13:30-14:45 – Bible Handling Workshop (Various)

14:45-15:05 – Refreshments

15:05-16:30 – Model Bible Expositions: Micah (Challum Finbow)

The programme will be different to last year so even if you came last year there are many new things to learn. We trust it will be an enriching time of learning, equipping and fellowship. We would love to have you with us.
