Expository Ministry Conference, 2025

‘Serving the Servants of the Word’

Tuesday 24th – Thursday 26th June, 2025

This will be the 3rd Expository Ministry Conference (EMC ’25). EMC ’23 and EMC ’24 were immensely encouraging and we eagerly look forward to gathering once more in June 2025.

The Expository Ministry Conference is principally for pastors, including pastors in training. Our aim is to be nourished together in God’s word so as to sharpen our preaching, think biblically about the work of ministry, and encourage one another in our service of the Lord.

Speakers

There are three plenary sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday and two on Thursday. In addition, there are a range of optional seminar streams from 3pm on the first two days. The conference concludes with the Cornhill Valedictory Service after a meal together on Thursday at 2pm to which everyone is warmly invited.

Andy left a career in Respiratory Medicine to join the staff of St Helen’s Bishopsgate working with Dick Lucas. He went on to be Assistant Pastor at Spicer Street Church in St Albans, and then was for 12 years Senior Pastor of Beeston Evangelical Free Church in Nottingham.

Andy joined the Cornhill staff in 2011 and is The Director of the Pastors’ Training Course (PTC).

Andy is married to Annie, and they have two grown up children.

EMC will be held at the Tron Church, 25 Bath Street, Glasgow, G2 1HW.

We understand the challenges and sacrifices that come with being in ministry. We believe that this conference will provide you with stretching content and much encouragement alongside like-minded christians to help you to continue in your faithful service of the Lord and His people.  The conference will also provide space to sing and pray together, as well as ample opportunity to catch-up over coffee and lunch.

We hope the conference to be a time of ongoing development, rich fellowship and deepening friendships.
